On October 16, 2026, the Oil and Gas Machinery Forum and Operators’ Open Day took place in Uralsk. The event was held at the Atameken Oner Ordasy venue and brought together more than 800 participants, including representatives of government authorities, major oil and gas operators, domestic manufacturers, and international companies.
The forum was organized by the International Center for the Development of Oil and Gas Machinery (IMBC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of industry partners. In 2026, the event marked the fifth anniversary of IMBC.
Engineering company WEST OIL participated in the business program and presented its products at the outdoor exhibition of domestic manufacturers. Around 40 Kazakhstani companies showcased equipment, industrial products, and technological solutions for the oil and gas sector.
Participation in the exhibition provided WEST OIL with an opportunity to demonstrate its manufacturing capabilities, introduce visitors to its products, and showcase solutions designed to meet the needs of oil and gas enterprises.
One of the forum’s key priorities was fostering direct dialogue between domestic manufacturers and major oil and gas operators. As part of the Operators’ Open Day, operator representatives held dedicated meetings and sessions addressing procurement procedures, technical product requirements, supplier engagement conditions, and opportunities for Kazakhstani enterprises to participate in major projects.
Special attention was given to international ASME and API standards, production localization, and increasing the share of locally manufactured products in oil and gas companies’ procurement. The event also featured B2B meetings and discussions on potential cooperation between manufacturers and prospective customers.
A significant outcome of the forum was the signing of contracts between oil and gas operators and Kazakhstani manufacturers worth approximately KZT 320 billion. These agreements are aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation and expanding the participation of domestic enterprises in supply chains.
For WEST OIL, participation in the forum and exhibition provided an opportunity to demonstrate its manufacturing capabilities, strengthen business relationships, and present the company to industry professionals. WEST OIL continues to cooperate with enterprises and organizations across the oil and gas industry, offering industrial solutions and products tailored to the needs of the Kazakhstani market.
